Q) What should I wear?
A) Any comfortable gym clothes are best. Wearing shorts will help you with moves on the pole, because you will be able to grip much better with bare legs. However you can start in leggings, shorts will not be required for the first few weeks.
For aerial classes we recommend leggings and a long sleeve top.
Q) What footwear should I wear?
A) The lessons are in bare feet or socks.
Q) Where are the classes held?
A) Classes are held in our very own, purpose built, fully equipped studio. Unit 58, Avenue 8, Storforth Lane Industrial Estate, Storforth Lane, Chesterfield. Click here to see us on google maps.
Q) How long do the classes last?
A) The length varies dependant on the class. Most classes are 1 hour.
Q) Can I pay for the lessons each week?
A) Yes, but discounts are available for Class Packs, please click 'Memberships' below for more details. We only accept card payments online.
Q) How many people are there in a class?
A) We keep the class sizes small, however this does vary week to week. You can see how many people are booked in via our online booking system.
Q) What are the risks?
A) All Aerial activities carry risks, however we can assure you that our studio operates safely. We have fully certified staff, all first aid trained and insured. Our studio is also Pole Safe Federation Approved.
Q) Is there any progression within the class?
A) Yes, you will progress as the instructor feels necessary. We have an in house syllabus to help guide you from beginner to advanced.
Q) Do you offer private lessons?
A) Yes, please contact us for more details or chose 'Private Lessons' as the venue to see what we currently have available.
Q) Can I book a party with you, will you help us arrange the day?
A) Yes we'd love to! If you could give me the date and how many people, we can go from there. We offer a full party package which is tailored to suit the individual. Please contact us for further info.
Q) I'd like to organise a class for me and my friends only, do you accommodate this?
A) Yes, we can do private sessions for 1 up to 6 people. These sessions are good for groups of friends who would like to do a private lesson together. Please contact us to book.
Q) How fit do I need to be?
A) A high level of fitness isn't necessary, as pole dancing and aerial really is suitable for all, this is how you will get and keep fit. However should you have any injuries or illnesses, please consult your doctor beforehand.
Q) How early should I arrive on my first lesson?
A) You should arrive about 5 to 10 mins early on the first lesson. Late students will not be permitted to enter for H&S reasons.
Q) Do you have a cancellation policy?
A) Yes all classes must be cancelled at least 12 hrs before, otherwise students will be charged in full.
